Stuart Cutting presented with a red bag by David Lord KC

David Lord KC presented Stuart Cutting with a red bag after Stuart was led by David in recognition of his invaluable assistance in the Expert Tooling and Automation Ltd v ENGIE Power Ltd. hearing in the Court of Appeal in January this year.

This high-profile case covered claims in relation to alleged half-secret commissions arising out of commercial energy contracts paid by the energy supplier to the energy broker used by the customer to secure an energy supply contract. David and Stuart were instructed by Walker Morris and appeared together successfully in the High Court trial and before the Court of Appeal. An appeal is pending to the Supreme Court.
