The Incoherence of Human Rights in INternational Law

We are pleased that an international law seminar is being held at the University of Manchester to launch the publication of a Festschrift honouring one of our barristers, Professor Surya P. Subedi. 

This event will be hosted by the Manchester International Law Centre to celebrate the publication of a Festschrift ‘The Incoherence of Human Rights in International Law’ and dedication to Professor Surya P. Subedi, OBE, KC, DPhil & DCL (Oxford), Professor of International Law at the University of Leeds and an Honorary Fellow of Exeter College of Oxford University.

At the seminar, Professor Subedi will deliver a lecture on ‘A Cross-Cultural Understanding of Human Rights in International Legal Discourse’.

This is a hybrid seminar, taking place on 27 February 2025, 5pm – 7pm. You can attend in person attendance at the University of Manchester, School of Law, University Place (Room 2.22), Oxford Road, Manchester, M13 9PL. Attendance via zoom is possible here.
