Emma’s practice encompasses a wide variety of commercial and chancery work, with a particular emphasis on insolvency and property law. Emma was called to the Bar in 2008 and joined chambers following the successful completion of her pupillage here.
Emma has great advocacy experience in both the High Court and the County Court. Emma receives frequent instructions to appear in interim applications, trials and appeals as well as acting on a pro bono basis through the Company Insolvency Pro Bono Scheme. Prior to the commencement of her pupillage, Emma spent a year working as a Freelance Advocate.
In addition to her advocacy work, Emma is often instructed to advise at every stage of litigation and has experience of both contentious and non-contentious drafting. Emma contributes to Lexis PSL Restructuring and Insolvency and provides commentary for Lexis PSL Legal News Analysis.
Since July 2013 Emma has been acting as an adjudicator in relation to cases referred to the Communication and Internet Services Adjudication Scheme.
