We are always willing to consider applications from barristers with established practices or from solicitors wishing to take up practice at the Bar. Applications from Mediators wishing to continue to develop that aspect of practice are also welcome. The Senior Clerk, Justin Brown, will discuss any informal approach in complete confidence, and applications should be submitted with a C.V. to Justin Brown.

We also offer work-experience to those interested in a career as a barrister or as a barrister’s clerk. Three Stone is committed to a policy of encouraging diversity and we believe that the opportunity for a young person to shadow a member of chambers can be a very effective way of dispelling some of the illusions about the difficulty of entry to the most satisfying of professions.
